Team 5 and I did a presentation on Podcasts with the theme that everyone has a story and one of the listeners brought forward a very critical question in relation to the documentation and preservation of Indigenous knowledge, from a viewpoint that I may not always consider the importance of. Corie Houldsworth (2022) comment on “the thought that indigenous knowledge can survive from generation to generation, but possibly be misinterpreted if presented without context, is fascinating to me” provides me with critical incite that is an issue and one to be respected. Context is a big part of storytelling, it sets the stage for feelings, thoughts, emotions, connections, and building relationships.
